Fall engagement sessions will always have a special place in my heart,

and Lauren and Brad's session was one of those evenings that just worked. Peak fall colors, soft light filtering through the trees, and two people who are completely comfortable together... it checked all of the boxes.

We scheduled their session for mid-October, and totally lucked out with the autumn leaves being at their peak. The colors were popping in every direction down this winding path, which made this session feel cozy and effortless. Lauren's outfit choice deserves a moment of appreciation because her cardigan layered over her dress complemented the autumn tones perfectly. It blended beautifully with the warm oranges and yellows in the background without overpowering the scene... a perfect example of how thoughtful outfit choices can elevate engagement photos.

As a new england engagement photographer,

I always aim for sessions that feel relaxed and natural while still giving direction when it's needed. Lauren and Brad fell right into that rhythm. Nothing felt stiff or overly posed, just easy movement, real interaction, and moments that felt like them. That balance is something I focus on with every couple, especially those who tell me they're a little nervous in front of the camera.

What I loved most about their session was how genuine their connection felt. There was so much laughter, quiet moments, and those little in-between expressions that can't be forced. Fall engagement photos have a way of bringing out that warmth, and Lauren and Brad leaned into it effortlessly.

I'm already counting down the days until I get to photograph their wedding next summer at the Warwick Country Club. If their engagement session is any indication, their wedding day is going to be full of joy, energy, and so many moments worth soaking in.

Kind words from

lauren & Brad
